Formula 1’s 2026 season is unlike any other in the sport’s history. A new generation of cars, engines and rules landed alongside a fresh 24-round calendar, and fans have had plenty to track since lights out in Melbourne back in March.
The season opened with a triple-header in the Asia-Pacific region: Australia, China and Japan, giving the new-look grid an early stress test on three very different circuits. From there the calendar moved into the Middle East before crossing the Atlantic for Miami and a repositioned Canadian Grand Prix, now slotted right after Miami to save teams a costly transatlantic freight run.
Summer brought the traditional European swing, running from Monaco through Barcelona, Spielberg, Silverstone and on to Spa-Francorchamps and the Hungaroring, where the season paused for its August break.
